Services

Services are a fundamental component of our Sandbox product. Each service, such as Node-RED, Kafka, Orion, PostgreSQL, and Jupyter, represents a different tool. These services operate as Podman containers and are managed as systemd services on the host. They enable users to easily create various applications and proofs of concept, offering a broad selection of technologies to meet diverse development needs available on Sandbox.

Users can view the available services through the Software-Center window within Sandbox. Each service can be easily installed by clicking the "Install" button. However, due to compatibility constraints, some services cannot be used together, which will result in the "Install" button being disabled for those incompatible services.
